How my journey began

I’m Alex Feber, my love for videography started at a very young age. My grandfather always had his trusty video camera out to capture anything and everything that was going on as I grew up. That love transferred to me. I received my first camera when I graduated Middle School. My blue Panasonic hand held camera traveled the world with me. From Europe to Asia and across the entire USA, you could usually find me with a pouch on my hip, full of MiniDV tapes that I was busy filling up with footage.

As time progressed, so did the cameras and the projects. Irrespective of what it was, I always enjoyed capturing the moment. I have since transitioned from doing it for fun and have been able to make a career out of it.

I have been fortunate enough to work at Referential, Inc. a Silicon Valley marketing consulting agency. At Referential, I have traveled the world meeting people from all walks of life, and capturing their stories. Referential is a market leader in the high-tech and cyber security fields for customer advocacy marketing. I created the company’s videography team and our successes have enabled us to now make a significant contribution to Referential’s services portfolio. In this role I have been privileged to see behind the scenes at some incredible locations, including completing video projects at CERN Large Hadron Particle Accelerator (think Tom Hank’s “Angels & Demons”) located in Switzerland, behind the scenes at LAX airport and at the massive San Francisco-based RSA Conference for cyber security, among many, many others.

In parallel with my love for videography, I’ve always had a passion for anything with wheels and a motor. My commercial work has given me the platform to combine the two fields, culminating in the creation of Feber Media. I’m able to leverage the expertise I’ve built up over many years in the corporate world and unite this with my love of motorsports, drivers and crews, engines, accessories and parts.

As with everyone in the world, life has a way of bringing people together. I have gotten to work with the Head Editor of Expedition Portal - a world-renowned forum run by the people that have brought Overland Journal to life. I am working with them to help take their digital video media presence to the next level and provide rich new content for it’s members.

I’m always excited for the next project. Each one brings forth new challenges, but the end result is always amazing! If you have something in mind, call me - let’s talk!
